Upon receipt of your existing carburetors, I will tear them down for examination to determine the initial estimate and plan of action. I will submit a proposal and price for your approval. You will be contacted before any work is done.
I charge a non-refundable bench fee of $75 for the initial appraisal. If the service is approved, this fee will be applied toward the restoration price.
The price includes complete restoration of your carbs and shipping charges. Final cost will be determined on the condition of the carbs.
Please allow 4-5 weeks after receipt of carbs for completion. I may get done sooner, but they won’t go until they are perfect.
Once an agreement has been reached and full payment is received, your carbs will be completely disassembled then cleaned by hand and ultrasonically.
All bodies will be blasted to remove most all surface imperfections. All gaskets will be replaced.
Hoses will be replaced where applicable.
Bodies will be sealed, bench sync’d. and leak tested.
Hard parts such as jets/needles/tubes, etc. will be replaced if not within service limits at an additional cost.
Rubber diaphragm replacement due to holes is an additional $35 per carb body if needed. We do not repair holes in diaphragms.
Additional costs may be incurred for missing/broken/damaged parts.
Jet/needles/main/air/pilot extractions due to stripped brass will incur additional costs.
We do not paint (any color) carburetor bodies or bowls.
If the proposal is declined, the carbs will be returned to the buyer LESS return shipping costs and a $75 bench fee. Return shipping on the cores if the service is not performed is the responsibility of the buyer. Bench fee prices due and payable within 10 business days or the cores will be forfeited.
I cut no corners. You will be proud to run these on your machine…show or go. I sell all over the world and do work for dealerships in the U.S.
